As a Conference and Banqueting your role is to manage the operation of conferences, banqueting and functions and events. You will co-ordinate the service and preparation of food and drink, ensure adequate supervision and monitor performance. You will ensure customer care procedures are implemented and respond to customer enquiries and complaints promptly.
You will co-ordinate the scheduling of work and the appropriate allocation of duties to team members to meet business needs and maintain awareness amongst staff of product knowledge, services, equipment and facilities.
You are responsible for planning work schedules, checking client requirements and ensuring customers and potential customer relationships are actively pursued. You will co-ordinate the billing, credit procedures and food and beverage requirements with the relevant departments. You will develop budgets and sales targets to maximise sales, control costs and analyse results and ensure effective communication with relevant departments in order to maximise business opportunities.
You will maintain awareness and comply with legislation and company policies and procedures and take responsibility for maintenance and cleanliness of all equipment.
