UKSP and The National Skills Academy for Hospitality have joined forces to create the perfect platform for matching employers to the best talent in the industry. Using the well-established ‘Recruitment Academy’ from the National Skills Academy employers are now able to target and recruit an even wider selection of hospitality graduates of the highest calibre qualified from the best quality assured and accredited colleges in the country.
The Recruitment Academy was developed by The National Skills Academy for Hospitality to ensure excellent talented young hospitality graduates continue to enhance the industry in the efforts to raise the benchmark of excellence leading up to and after the 2012 games.
Other industry brands signed up to the Recruitment Academy, include; Mitchells & Butlers, The Athenaeum, Yo! Sushi, The Vineyard Group, The Hempel, The Hilton Metro Division, The Savoy, Punch Taverns, Legacy Hotels, The Northcote Group and Peach Pubs Company.
The Academy currently endorses 13 colleges who have been through a vigorous quality assured assessment to ensure the content and delivery of their courses is of an excellent standard. These courses create a high caliber of chefs & front of house graduates ready to enter the hospitality industry on a yearly basis.
These talented graduates will form part of the long-term solution for industry and has been developed for three reasons:
1. Operators want and need the most cost effective way to secure the brightest graduate talent
2. Colleges need to be able to attract the brightest talent and the promise of jobs for graduates certainly helps
3. Young talent needs to know that their investment in further education is worthwhile and valued - leading to jobs with top employers.
The Recruitment Academy is offering a limited number of membership places: Membership price is £350 ex VAT for Small businesses, and £1100 ex VAT for Large businesses (with 5 sites or more) Plus £250 ex VAT for each student employed through the Recruitment Academy.
