PGL Travel Ltd is the UK's leading provider of residential activity holidays and study courses for young people. Our guests spend their days mountain biking, climbing, quad-biking and orienteering - building up quite an appetite so our Head Chefs are crucial in keeping our staff and guests happy!
Our canteen-style mass catering operation prepares up from 100 to 1,000 covers per mealtime at the height of the season, depending on the capacity of your centre. Using as many fresh ingredients as possible, you'll provide first class nutritious meals for our guests and staff team and will be in sole charge of the catering operation. The majority of our guests are under 17 so meal times are early and as a result, our Head Chefs rarely find themselves working beyond 8pm.
A key member of your centre's senior staff team, you will be responsible for food prep, kitchen hygiene and the associated kitchen administration. This position will also allow you to develop all around catering skills and awareness including cooking, ordering and accounting of stock and staff supervision.

This is a residential role, with an accommodation package and meals included. You’ll also receive a competitive wage and free uniform (no bond required).
