Overview

This qualification has been designed to meet the revised food safety legislation that came into law in 2006. It is the equivalent of the Level 4 Food Safety Awards in England, Wales and Northern Ireland. People doing this qualification would normally have a very sound knowledge of food safety and have undertaken the Intermediate Food Hygiene Course or Level 3 Food Safety in England, Wales and Northern Ireland.
