Overview

This short qualification specifically focuses on cleaning food areas. It deals with the full process including preparing areas, carrying out the cleaning itself, checking resources and disposing waste. The qualification is assessed through practical and assignment work. The qualification provides progression onto a larger Certificate in Cleaning Principles or onto the level 2 NVQ in Cleaning and Support Services.
