The Level 2 Award in Welcoming Tourists and Visitors to their Destination in Hospitality, Leisure, Travel and Tourism is designed to provide learners with an introduction to the knowledge required when working within tourism destinations. The qualification covers the range of areas including introducing learners to the importance of welcoming tourists and the role of customer service.
The qualification is also designed to take into account the various roles of the skills that customer service requires.
This qualification will normally be undertaken with a supporting qualification such as the Level 2 Principles of Customer Service in Hospitality, Leisure, Travel and Tourism.
