Overview

The Level 3 Award in Wines and Spirits is offered by the Wines and Spirits Education Trust (WSET). The Trust has a well founded reputation across both the hospitality industries and the wine trade for offering a variety of courses in wines and spirits. They vary from the foundation qualification at level 1 to the Honours Diploma at level 5 which provides a comprehensive understanding of wines and spirits.
This qualification is designed to provide a thorough understanding of the principal wines and spirits of the world, with an increased focus on tasting techniques.
The qualification is ideal for anyone starting to specialise in wines and spirits and needing core information to advise customers and management.
