The National Skills Academy for Hospitality
Identifies, endorses and promotes qualifications and learning opportunities which are delivered to National Skills Academy for Hospitality standards. This delivery may take place in universities, colleges of further education, employer businesses and dedicated hospitality schools.
Its role is also to;
Identify inspirational solutions in three key areas that support companies and individuals to gain competitive advantage including management and leadership, customer service and craft skills which are central to addressing the industry challenges
Provide industry and learners with an assurance that the National Skills Academy for Hospitality logo means excellence and
adds value wherever it is situated.
The National Skills Academy for Hospitality has devised an accreditation process whereby any college, employer, training provider may provide an expression of interest to become endorsed for excellent and exacting standards in both content and delivery of their programme. The National Skills Academy for Hospitality will review and investigate the submission before being accepted to undergo a vigorous quality assured assessment of excellence.

Once you have shown an interest you would need to fill out a criteria amplification document which has been produced to be used as an aid memoir for the Quality Committee and forms the basis for the assessment of the application. Click here to download a copy of the Criteria Amplification.
We understand the difficult times everyone is enduring at the present time and so we have modified our approach to ensure that only excellence is the barrier to gaining our accreditation.
Our Accredited Colleges
Accredited Colleges will be provided with differentiation, profile and coverage at every opportunity and will provide a direct pipeline of talent back into the industry.
There are currently 13 colleges accredited by The National Skills Academy for Hospitality and as of Spring 2011 they all have a direct link to enlightened employers in the industry who have signed up to The Recruitment Academy. Only students graduating from these 13 colleges are provided with the opportunity of employment. A percentage of all recruitment fees are re-invested back into these colleges.
The fee to become an accredited college is £2,000 plus VAT which simply covers the costs incurred during the rigorous audit and review process.
