For over 30 years, Boston College has been providing high quality further education to thousands of students over the age of 14.
The College is situated close to the town centre of Boston with three campuses in close proximity to each other, and 5 other learning centres in Lincolnshire market towns. During the last ten years, we have expanded our reach to learners from over 20 countries around the world.
The College provides over 400 courses, up to and including degree level, including a wide range of vocational training courses as well as A/AS levels, GCSEs and diplomas. We also work with well over a thousand businesses and run apprenticeships for those of you who want to earn as you learn. Whatever your age, you can choose something that will expand your horizons and give you the confidence to succeed.
Our success is nationally recognised. Our last inspection by Ofsted in late 2008 gave us an ‘outstanding’ grade for our ability to meet the needs and interests of our learners, and a ‘good’ grade overall; we hold the Training Quality Standard for the quality of our work with employers; and we are the only college in the country to be awarded the national ‘Matrix’ accreditation for our Information, Advice and Guidance to students, staff and external partners – a real achievement. In a more specialised area, we have full FEAST status (Food Excellence and Skills Training) and have one of only 8 new centres for training school meals staff within the country.
None of this success happens by accident. We have excellent staff at the college, teachers and support staff, who are enthusiastic and committed to helping you make the right choices and succeed in your ambitions. There is a diverse mixture of adults studying with the college which helps create an energetic and productive atmosphere for learners and staff alike. With so much opportunity, isn’t it time to join us?
