About this role

The Front Office Department is the main connection point between guests and the hotel as well as other Hotel Departments. The overall service level of the front desk operation, and the clubroom. Also responsible for the overall hotel guest satisfaction via the feed back from the Service Center. Specific responsibilities include:•Adhere & maintain standards of day-to-day operations.
•Actively solicit guest feedback and distribute/collect GRIP questionnaires.
•Be aware of the results from Richey & HI GSTS and GRIP and implement procedures to enhance results as advised.
•Actively participate in guest driven events, e.g. cocktail parties.
•Be focused on hospitality and guest service.
•Follow up guest satisfaction regarding queries handled by the Service Centre according to the relevant report.
•Be fully aware and comply with hotel security, fire regulations and all heath and safety legislation.
•To attend appropriate training courses as and when required.
•Work at all times within HR Best practise and the four core values.
•Communicate hotel enrolment targets, implement procedures and motivate team to achieve.
•Be fully aware of the benefits of HHonours and be able to promote these to the guest.
•Actively promote the benefits of double dipping upon check-in to frequent flyer only guests thereby reducing the percentage of frequent flyer only stays (AMO).
•Maintain accuracy of guest profiles.
•Review, maintain and implement systems and procedures as directed.
•Ensure daily shift hand-overs are conducted in a professional and constructive manner.
•Work with duty shift checklists to ensure tasks completed.
•Work with a sales focused attitude and be aware of sales opportunities within the hotel which will assist with the maximisation of revenueBe aware of all room revenue targets and informed of performance results.
