About this role

Temporary Air Planner required for Award Winning Business Travel House

This reputable business travel company with offices in a prime location requires a Temporary Air Planner to work within their premier team on a 6 month fixed term contract.

Working as a project leader on group air movements ranging from 300 to 2000 people. Working with and managing a team in order to provide a seamless event with high levels of service for the client. This will involve research and negotiation with airlines for group block allocation of seats, agreeing to airline contracts as well as managing the seats and keeping to the airlines deadlines. In addition to group seats the role also involves making individual published reservations on the GDS system (Galileo).

This Temporary Air Planner position is to work on a very demanding and pressurised account so suitable candidates will thrive on a challenge.

As a Temporary Air Planner you will undertake an array of tasks & responsibilities:
* Servicing a blue chip account in a busy and demanding environment
* Arranging all international business travel & at times handling complex itineraries for business travel clients booking all flights, hotels, car hire and other ancillaries

Temporary Air Planner skill attributes:
* Previous experience working within a corporate (Business Travel) environment would be ideal however they would consider an excellent flight reservation consultant
* Will have experience handling medium to large sized complex blue chip accounts
* Proficiency on a major CRS system
* Exceptional customer service & communication skills along with excellent attention to detail
* Be able to work well under pressure & handle demanding accounts
